I would recommend against toning whilst your hair is still orange especially when dealing with the wella t18 toners as it is recommended to use on very light hair maybe around a level 9 or 10. To cancel out the bold shades from your dark colored hair you need a perfect hair toner. Beige toner is great for getting rid of rusty looking yellow and orange tones while ash toner has a tendency to make hair gray. Also girl is used to bleach sometimes.
